The Resurrection of Jesus Christ

Miracles have been the way that God has shown that his messengers/prophets were speaking on His behalf. This is why Jesus said:

John 10:37-38 Do not believe me unless I do the works of my Father. But if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.”

Jesus did many miracles before the greatest one: coming back from the dead, and he told the people many times before He did it!

Mark 8:31 He then began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and after three days rise again.

Matthew 12:39 He answered, “A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a sign! But none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.” (Jonah was in the belly of the great fish for 3 days).

John 2:18-19 The Jews then responded to him, “What sign can you show us to prove your authority to do all this?”

Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days.”

John 10:17-18 The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.”

The enemies of Jesus had heard these claims and tried to make sure there were no false reports about it
Matthew 27:62-66 The next day, the one after Preparation Day, the chief priests and the Pharisees went to Pilate. “Sir,” they said, “we remember that while he was still alive that deceiver said, ‘After three days I will rise again.’ So give the order for the tomb to be made secure until the third day. Otherwise, his disciples may come and steal the body and tell the people that he has been raised from the dead. This last deception will be worse than the first.”

“Take a guard,” Pilate answered. “Go, make the tomb as secure as you know how.” So they went and made the tomb secure by putting a seal on the stone and posting the guard.

The resurrection of Jesus also tells us that we will also be resurrected.

As is said by the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:17-20 And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins. Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost. If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied. But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep.

What makes the resurrection of Jesus Christ more believable than other miracles claimed by other religions?

This question was examined by a criminal prosecutor who found the evidence overwhelming according to his experience solving complicated murder cases that are very similar to examining historical events. The evidence changed him from an atheist to a devout Christian, and now he shares this insight to others:
